FORT MYERS, Fla- A young boy in a Darth Vader costume surprised to see his parents VW Passat start under his direction is this year's best Super Bowl commercial. Earl Quenzel of the ad agency Quenzel Associates says it hit all the right marks to take the top spot.
Each year after the Super Bowl Quenzel conducts an online survey about the effectivness of the big games big commercials. His survey also gives high marks to Bud Lights product placement spot, the Budweiser saloon ad, Coke's border guards, the Chevy Cruz first date facebook post, E-trade's baby and tailor plus Faith Hill's Teleflora ad.
Quenzel gives low marks to the Pepsi Max spot ending with a can thrown at a jogger on the bench and Dorito's finger licking spots.
He joined on Six TV Monday morning to explain more on why each ad worked or didn't.
