COLLIER COUNTY, Fla - A woman who walked away from a Pennsylvania prison work-release program last year was caught Monday by deputies in East Naples.

Angela Honey Bilotta, 38, of Macungie, Pa., was arrested, along with her husband, a convicted sex offender who hadn't notified authorities that he was living in Collier County.

Collier County Sheriff's Office reports gave this account:

CCSO received information that Oliver Jason Tressler, 40, was living at a residence at 231 Willoughby Drive in North Naples and had not registered as a sexual offender in Florida.

Investigators with the CCSO Organized Crime Bureau conducted surveillance on Tressler on Monday. After a few hours, investigators observed Tressler drive to the Super 8 Motel, 3880 Tollgate Blvd., East Naples. Bilotta came out of the motel and got inside Tressler's vehicle.

Investigators stopped the vehicle and placed both Bilotta and Tressler under arrest.

Bilotta was arrested on active warrants out of Pennsylvania charging her with escape.

Bilotta left the Lehigh County Womens Correctional Center in Allentown, Pa., to go to work on Dec. 8, 2010, and never returned, authorities said. She had been serving a one- to two-year prison sentence stemming from her conviction on theft charges in that state in October 2010.

At the time of her arrest, she told investigators she had been in the Naples area for around two weeks.

Tressler was charged with failure to register as a convicted sex offender. He failed to notify CCSO, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles of any change in his permanent or temporary address within 48 hours.

Tressler was registered in Pennsylvania as a sexual offender in connection with his 2006 conviction on prostitution and related offenses with a minor in that state. Florida law requires him to register as a sexual offender due to his prior requirement to register in Pennsylvania.

On Jan. 13, Tressler informed the Pennsylvania sex offender registry that he was relocating to Florida to the 231 Willoughby Drive address, arrest reports show.
