PANAMA CITY, Fla. (AP) - With thousands of youngsters headed to Panama City in a month or so for spring break bashes, the local sheriff is spreading the word about synthetic drugs.
Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen told the Panama City News Herald that area law officers are having problems with one drug known as "bath salts." McKeithen said the drug can be snorted and causes violent delusions.
In a community formum, the sheriff said Panama City needs a plan to deal with spring breakers and synthetic drugs.
