Kelly McGuinness says,  "I was just really really angry."

That's why she didn't think twice about jumping in her van with her son Liam and going after the three boys, she spotted riding her son's bicycle.

McGuinness says, "This had happened before, the last time it happened the bike was on the lawn but this time I knew for a fact, the bike was in the garage, that meant someone had to go into my home while my children were in the house."

McGuiness lost the boy's briefly then spotted them at the park just around the corner. She called 911.

"This is where I pulled up to and they were right here."

Liam McGuinness says, "She jumped out of the car and she walked up to them and they had that expression on their face like..Ohhhh nooo."

So I got out and just started yelling at them and demanding to know where the bicycles were, and they told me they dumped them in the bushes."

Not just her son Liam's bike which he had just gotten for Christmas, but two others stolen from neighborhood children.
The three boys ages 15 and 16 were arrested.

"I'm really glad, I really am."

So is her son.

"I'm actually really proud, because I wouldn't think of a mom doing this, I would think of a dad doing this."

McGuiness says she'd do it again in a heart beat.

"I just wasn't going to stand for it."
