LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- Snowy conditions across the Southeast are hampering travel in and out of Southwest Florida International Airport.
Around noon time, 14 departures and 14 arrivals were canceled to and from RSW.
One of the world's largest airports in covered in snow, making travel difficult for many.
Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, a major hub, canceled thousands of flights Monday.
Atlanta-based Delta Airlines had plans to cancel about 1400 flights Monday. AirTrain was planning to keep about 300 flights grounded.
Flights to and from Charlotte, Memphis, and Alabama have also been affected.
Auburn football fans hoping to fly to the National Championship Game were grounded.
