GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Florida has confirmed that former Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis will be Will Muschamp's offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.
The Gators also have hired Frank Verducci as offensive line coach and running game coordinator. George Wynn will be director of football operations.
Weis will remain as offensive coordinator of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs through the postseason.
Verducci coached at Notre Dame in 2009 after eight seasons in the NFL with Cleveland (2007-08), Buffalo (2004-05), Dallas (2002) and Cincinnati (1999-2001).
Wynn comes to Florida after serving the past six seasons at assistant athletic director for football operations at Texas.
