COLLIER COUNTY -- A 14-year-old Alex Crain is in custody and being charged with two counts of second degree murder after his parents were found fatally shot Thursday morning

When authorities arrived at the home they found the boy's parents 40-year-old Thomas Ronald Crain, and 39-year-old Kelly Renee Crain shot to death in their bedroom.

The sheriff's office said Crain surrendered to deputies when they arrived at the home.

The boy has two half brothers but he and his parents were the only ones home at the moment.

The Collier County Sheriff's Office investigated the shooting and searched the Naples home.

Neighbor Kimberly West says the couple who live in the house have three sons, two of them teenagers. She called all three boys "sweethearts.
