CAPE CORAL, FL- It's the second scathing report to land on city officials desks in less than a month. This one from consultant Bill Martin. He says poor supervision and record keeping on certain city projects is costing taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars.

For example, the report shows a street sweeper ran for a full day only to pick up just a wastebasket's worth of debris. Then there is a dredging project that the audit shows is supposed to be yielding tons of debris every day.

Only one problem... the drege isn't working and is sinking in the very canal it's supposed to be clearing.
