Arrests made in Coastland Mall incident
Detectives from the Naples Police Department have arrested two subjects in connection with the earlier incident at the Coastland Center Mall. Both subjects have been charged with False Imprisonment for keeping the victim in a back room of the store and not allowing him to leave. The dispute was over money that the subjects stated that the victim owed them. Both of the arrested subjects and the victim were employees of Men's Palace.
Arrested Subjects: Each charged with (1) one count of False Imprisonment (f.s.s. 787.02)

Naples Police Investigating Incident at the Coastland Mall
Today at approximately 1:03 pm, Units from the Naples Police Department were dispatched to the “Men's Palace” store in what was being reported as a hostage incident.
Upon officer arrival, they discovered that it was not a hostage incident, but was an incident that involved store employees in a dispute over money. All subjects were brought to the Naples Police Department for questioning by detectives. There was a handgun discovered in the store, but at this point it is not known if it was used during the incident. The investigation is in its preliminary stages.
