FORT MYERS, Fla.-- November has already seen some strong sales online, according to a company that keeps track of it. And retailers who rely at least partly on their Internet customers are hoping to see a surge today.

It's become known as "Cyber Monday"-- the day retail websites roll out discounts and other offers to lure holiday shoppers.

A record 107 million people are expected to shop online Monday.

That's up from 96.5 million last year.

About 90% of online retailers are expected to have deals available all day.

Besides discount prices, many retailers like Old Navy, Gap, Sears, New York and Company and Barnes and Noble are offering free shipping.

Wal-mart is offering "Cyber Week" deals online.
