FORT MYERS, Fla. - Tokyo Bay owner, Jeff Shin, says this table was full of customers, when he noticed a problem with the grills gas supply.

"I'm looking down there, the gas is gone."

He thought it was the restaurants problem, but soon learned from the gas company, it was a much bigger issue.

A worker had hit a gas line with a road grinder on Colonial Boulevard and SR. 82, causing an explosion and knocking out the gas supply for dozens of restaurants in lee and Collier Counties.

Customer Juan Rivera says, "I came for the sushi."

Juan Rivera and his family were lucky, the sushi bar wasn't affected. However, Shin tells us, he had to cancel several reservations for the grill side of his restaurant and has been fielding calls from customers all day.

"They keep calling me."

A customer notices, "There were a lot of people that had to be turned away, because there is no case and I also understand they canceled their reservations for the night."

Shin just hopes the problem will be fixed before the weekend is over.
