CAPE CORAL. Fla. - Cape Coral Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect who held a woman at knife point in her home earlier today in the southwest Cape.  Terrell Beckwith fled the home after the woman’s husband returned to the residence to check on her.

According to the couple, Beckwith had lived at their home for about four months.  They had a disagreement last night that resumed this morning, and Beckwith indicated that he would be vacating the home.  The husband then left for work.  The female opened the door of her bedroom later that morning believing Beckwith was gone.  However, Beckwith was still in the home, and he threatened the woman with a knife and gun.  Beckwith fled the home when the husband arrived unexpectedly.  Beckwith was driving a 2000 grey Hyundai Sonata 4-door.

Beckwith is considered armed and dangerous, and the public is advised not to approach him.  If anyone knows of his whereabouts, please contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS or call 911.
