JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A north Florida woman convicted of driving under the influence in a crash that left another woman dead has been sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Sasha Pringle was sentenced Tuesday. A Duval County jury had previously found the 32-year-old guilty of DUI manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of a crash.

Witnesses say Pringle was driving recklessly in February when she knocked 41-year-old Luma Kajy's sport utility vehicle over the edge of a bridge to her death. Pringle left the scene, but a witness followed her home.

Investigators did not find evidence of alcohol use, but a toxicology exam tested positive for marijuana, painkillers and anti-anxiety drugs.

The defense argued there was no evidence that Pringle's vehicle hit Kajy's.
