MIAMI (AP) - The head of South Florida's Catholic community is home after helping open Cuba's first seminary in a half-century.
Miami Archbishop Thomas Wenski returned home Saturday. He led a delegation of American bishops who joined Cuban President Raul Castro and Cuban bishops in opening the new seminary.
In turn, the Miami archdiocese is now preparing to host a delegation of Cuban Catholics.
Bishop Arturo Gonzalez of the Diocese of Santa Clara, Cuba, will lead a group visiting Miami beginning Monday.
