TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Independent claims administrator Ken Feinberg will meet with Florida's Oil Spill Economic Recovery Task Force.

Florida officials have complained that Feinberg, who is appearing before the panel Thursday, hasn't been quick enough to pay claims.

They've also been pressuring him to honor claims even in areas that had little or no oil, which includes most of Florida.

Parts of Florida that were untouched still lost business because tourists stayed away due to misperceptions or fears of what might happen.

Only a few beaches in the Panhandle had oil or tar balls but those were quickly cleaned up.
