FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. - The body of a missing boater has been found in the back bay area of Fort Myers Beach.  Florida Fish and Wildlife is investigating the death and the man's name has not yet been released.

Late Monday night a boater spotted a distressed swimmer.  Several agencies assisted in the search. 

At 2:45 a.m. Tuesday, the man's body was discovered.
