TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of an inmate at a Gulf coast jail.
Authorities at the Hillsborough County Jail on Thursday said 37-year-old Kimberly A. Harrison became unresponsive in her bed on Wednesday. Authorities performed CPR and she was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Investigations are underway by the sheriff's office and the medical examiner to determine the cause of death. But authorities say the death appears to be from natural causes.
Harrison had been in jail since Oct. 14 facing various drug-related charges.
