SANFORD, Fla. (AP) - A central Florida stripper and her boyfriend have been sentenced to eight years in prison for a botched robbery that left another suspect dead.
As part of a plea agreement, 22-year-old Erica Fouladgar and 24-year-old Jarod Greene pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree murder and attempted armed robbery.
Fouladgar was working at Circus Circus in Fern Park in January when she convinced a costumer to meet her in the parking lot of an apartment complex. When the man arrived, Greene and his friend, 24-year-old Nicholas J. Hayes, threatened him with a stun gun and tried to rob him. But the intended victim was carrying a .40-caliber handgun and shot Hayes before running away.
Under Florida law, individuals involved in a felony resulting in death can be charged with murder.
