MIAMI (AP) - U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Fla., will headline the 12th annual Latina Style magazine's Business Series.

Thursday's event in Miami seeks to help women launch and grow their companies. The series' organizers say they have helped more than 25,000 Hispanic business owners since the program was launched in 1998 by bringing individuals together with corporations and government agencies that provide materials and services they may need.

According to the U.S. Census, Hispanics own more than 2 million nonagricultural businesses and are among the nation's fastest growing group of entrepreneurs.

Latina Style, with a national circulation of 150,000, targets Hispanic professional women, both those who run their own companies and those just entering the market place.
