TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Apparently there is a new weapon of choice: a bicycle.

A Gulf coast man was injured after he was hit over the head by another man with a bicycle eight times. Authorities say the two men didn't know each other prior to the incident.

Officials arrested Michael Anthony Perry on Monday, and he faces an aggravated battery charge.

Officials say Perry repeatedly kicked the man after he was knocked to the ground.
