MANDARIN, Fla. (AP) - One person is in critical condition and two students are under hospital observation following a crash between a schoolbus and a Toyota in northeast Florida.

The crash happened at 6:40 a.m. Wednesday.

Jacksonville Fire Rescue says the driver of the Toyota was extricated from the car and is in critical condition.

Witnesses say the bus was stopped to pick up students when the incident happened. Two students were taken to a local hospital as a precaution, and no other injuries were reported.
