COLLIER COUNTY, Fla - The Economic Development Council of Collier County held its Excellence in Industry Awards Tuesday at the Naples Hilton.

The awards are the EDC's way of saluting the county’s business leaders and entrepreneurs for creating jobs and strengthening our local economy.

The awards and its winners are:

Innovation Award, large business: Collier County Sheriff's Office

Business Expansion Award:  Conditioned Air

Newcomer Award:  Proximus Mobility

Entrepreneurship Award:  Agingcare.com

Green to Gold Award:  Naples Hotel and Golf Club

Civic Responsibility Award, small business:  Yamron Jewelers

Civic Responsibility Award, large business: Gulfshore Insurance

Export Excellence Award: Haynes Corporation

Volunteer of the Year Award:  Dick Botthof
