QUINCY, Fla. (AP) - Four adults are dead after an early morning fire in rural north Florida.
Maj. Shawn Wood of the Gadsden County Sheriff's Office says the four bodies were removed Wednesday from a burned out wood-frame home just north of Quincy near the Georgia border, about 25 miles northwest of Tallahassee. He says the blaze was reported shortly after 3 a.m.
The names of the victims are being withheld until family members have been contacted by authorities.
Gadsden County authorities and the state fire marshal are investigating the cause of the fire.
