HIALEAH, Fla. (AP) - A 70-year-old man has died after he was hit by a pickup truck while trying to cross a street near Miami.

Hialeah Police Detective Eddie Rodriguez said the driver stayed at the scene after Sunday night's accident and is cooperating with the investigation.

The victim's name has not been released.
