Cape Coral soldier will have day named after him

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - A Cape Coral soldier nearly killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan will be honored by city officials.
The final signatures are being added to this proclamation for Corey Kent day.
Private First Class Kent was injured while serving in Afghanistan when a roadside bomb went off.
Corey Kent day will be on the soldier's birthday July 28.
