SOUTH DAYTONA, Fla. (AP) - Police in South Daytona are asking for the public's help in finding a missing 78-yer-old woman.
Goldie May Robinson's son, Fred Roberts, reported her missing Sunday. A neighbor says the widow got married unexpectedly and went on a honeymoon in the Carolinas.
Police have labeled the disappearance "suspicious."
Robinson's son, Fred Roberts, told police he thinks the marriage story may be fiction. After he couldn't reach her, he drove down from his Baltimore home and found her place a mess and some personal possessions missing.
The neighbor has not been implicated in the disappearance and is in jail without bail for violating probation. The original charge was fraudulent use of personal identification.
