MIAMI (AP) - A Florida arms dealer convicted in a $300 million Pentagon scheme has been arrested again on weapons charges.

Efraim Diveroli, 24, was being held without bail Tuesday in Orlando on charges of firearms possession by a convicted felon. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents say Diveroli tried to broker a deal for thousands of rounds of ammunition and other weapons gear with undercover informants.

Diveroli last year pleaded guilty to conspiring to illegally ship Chinese-made ammunition to Afghan soldiers under a Pentagon contract. He is to be sentenced in November for that in Miami.

The ATF says Diveroli has no license to do international arms deals.

A Diveroli attorney did not respond to an e-mail seeking comment.
