FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A health advisory has been issued for three waterfront parks in northwest Florida where fecal bacteria were found.

The Okaloosa County Health Department issued advisories Tuesday after high levels of fecal bacteria were found at Garniers Park in Fort Walton Beach, Gulf Islands National Seashore on Okaloosa Island and Lincoln Park in Valparaiso.

Levels of fecal coliform at Liza Jackson Park in Fort Walton Beach and Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park near Niceville were just below the cutoff for an advisory.

People who enter water under an advisory risk disease, infections and rashes.
