MIAMI (AP) - Modesto Maidique, president emeritus of Florida International University, will be joining the Harvard Business School as a visiting professor this fall.
Linda Hill, a faculty chair at the school, said Maidique's long and impressive record of achievement as a scholar and educational leader will add new insights and perspectives to the school.
During his stay, Maidique will continue his research on effective CEO decision-making.
Maidique says intuition plays a key role for chief executives making major decisions. He hopes that working alongside colleagues at Harvard will help further understanding on the difference between good and bad CEO decisions.
