LEE COUNTY, Fla. - Lee County deputies are responding to a shooting off Ortiz near Ballard.

Deputies say the shooting was a drive-by and part of an attempted robbery at 4:00 pm.

Two black suspcts fled the scene in a white compact car.

The victim was shot in the leg, but his injuries are not life threatening.
