FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - A 7-year-old Fort Lauderdale boy who shot himself in the hand is being treated at a hospital.

The boy's condition has not been released.

Police Detective Katherine Collins says the boy found the gun in his home Tuesday morning. His family took him to the hospital.

No arrests have been made in the case.
