Just over a week ago someone opened fire at Linda Sullivan's home in the 300 block of Eland Drive in North Fort Myers.

23 40 47 I feel very much in shock.

Sullivan is in pain a week after a terrifying drive-by shooting.

"It's going to be hard to get over," she said.

Sullivan says she was getting ready to leave her house when she heard the gunfire, felt the bullets, and fell to the ground.

"You just go into shock so you don't really know it. I had my one good neighbor next to me talking to me the whole time," said Sullivan.

She had no idea what happened until after it was all over. She says two of her son's friends were feuding with another group, and she got caught in the middle; the wrong place at the wrong time.

"I trusted a couple kids that come to my house sometimes. They've eaten in my house, eaten my food, I didnt know they had problems going on," she said.

Her family says the gunfight may have been over drugs. Sullivan had to have surgery to remove her spleen. And now she's left with a bullet lodged in her leg and questions about why people she knew would put her and her family in danger.

"I have to believe Im innocent. I know I am. I did not think they would do this," said Sullivan.
