MIAMI (AP) - Police have set up a perimeter around Opa-locka Executive Airport in search of a robbery suspect.
Det. Eddie Rodriguez, of the Hialeah Police Department, says the incident began when two armed men held up eight people outside a high school and fled the scene.
A Hialeah police officer spotted the men on bicycles and took one of them into custody. The other ran away and into the grounds of the Opa-locka Executive Airport.
Authorities were searching the airport with a SWAT team, police dogs and county aviation.
The suspect's name has not been released.
A spokesman for the airport said flights were still being allowed to enter and leave the airport.
