PUNTA GORDA, Fla. - Punta Gorda Police arrested man on drug charges after weeks of undercover operations.
On Wednesday, Arnold Gomillia was arrested on Showalter avenue on multiple drug charges. Police began investigating him after citizens complained of peole selling illegal narcotics around Cooper street and Mary street.
The undercover detectives purchased crack cocaine from Gomillia on two different occasions.
He is being charges with two counts of sale and delivery of a controlled substance with in 1,000 feet of a church, two counts of sale and delivery of crack cocaine, and two counts of possession of crack cocaine.
Gomillia is now in Charlotte County jail. No bond has been set.
