EDGEWATER, Fla. (AP) - A waterspout touched down in central Florida lifting a boat off a trailer and tearing the soffit off a house.

Authorities say the waterspout was seen in Edgewater Wednesday, but no one was hurt.

Showers are passing over central Florida. The National Weather Service says up to 2 inches of rain is possible throughout the day.
