Boy, 15, killed in go-kart crash

MIAMI (AP) - A 15-year-old boy is dead after the go-kart he was driving slammed into a truck.
Tavaris Payne struck the parked moving truck near Miami Shores on Sunday afternoon.
The teen's family says he had been hanging out with friends earlier in the day. He came home for a snack and then went out again, driving a friend's go-kart.
Mourners gathered Sunday evening at the crash site.
