Huss asks for more time to prepare for trial

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Scott Huss stands accused of slashing his wife's throat in 2007. Thursday, Scott Huss's attorney asks a judge for additional time to prepare.
Huss's trial was set to be heard on August 23 on the charge of second-degree murder.
Although he was not present for the hearing, the judge granted the continuance request. The judge expects the trial to begin in October or November.
