ORLANDO, Fla. - A 911 recording in which Casey Anthony's mother tells a dispatcher that her daughter's car smells like a dead body can be used during the Florida woman's first-degree murder trial.

A judge in Orlando ruled during a pretrial hearing Thursday that the 911 recording can be introduced during the trial next May.

Casey Anthony's defense attorneys had tried to stop the 911 call from being played.

Casey Anthony's mother, Cindy, testified that when she called 911 in July 2008 she wanted to get the dispatcher's attention so that officers would come out to her house.

Casey Anthony has pleaded not guilty to killing her 2-year-old daughter. She says a baby sitter kidnapped her daughter, Caylee.

The toddler's remains were found about six months after Casey Anthony said she last saw her alive.
