MIAMI, Fla - The Miami Hea'ts newest player is in South Florida this morning. Saying "winning is a huge thing for me," NBA
prized free agent LeBron James is taking his superstar talents to
South Beach where he is joining Dwyane (dwayn) Wade and Chris Bosh
on a suddenly transformed Miami Heat team.
Ending weeks of suspense, the two-time MVP said on his ESPN
special from Greenwich, Conn. that he decided to join the Heat and
leave the Cleveland Cavaliers because the Heat gives him "the best
opportunity to win and to win now and to win in the future also."
It's a huge victory for the Heat, who got commitments from Wade
and Bosh on Wednesday. That duo, along with James, immediately
moves the Heat into the upper echelon of the NBA, at least on
paper.
Besides Cleveland, the other losers in the James Sweepstakes
were the New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, New Jersey Nets and L.A.
Clippers.
