LEHIGH ACRES, Fla- Lee County Sheriff's Deputies are still looking for one of the suspects that led them on a high speed chase early Thursday morning. Two people are already in custody.
It all started with some sort of assault on a Deputy in Cape Coral. The chase then got started at Cypress Lake Drive and Fiesta in South Fort Myers when some other deputies recognized the suspects car. At times, the suspects reached speeds of 100 miles and hour and ran through several stop signs. The chase finally ended at Leda Avenue South and 27th Street Southwest in Lehigh Acres. Deputies captured two of the suspects as they ran from the car but have not caught the third.
All the Sheriff's Office will say about the Deputy that was assaulted is that they will be OK.
