Pedestrian hit by car and killed in North Fort Myers

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Florida Highway Patrol says a pedestrian was hit by a car and killed on Bayshore Road near Ixora Drive late Saturday night.
The driver of the car says the person appeared suddenly and she was unable to stop in time. A second car then hit the pedestrian before a third vehicle rammed into the first car.
No word on any charges.
