EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) - A Florida man is among three people accused of trafficking 162 pounds of marijuana found in the trunk of a Cadillac they occupied during a traffic stop in southwestern Illinois.

A Madison County grand jury indicted 49-year-old Lidia Banda of Hammond, Indiana; 49-year-old Gary Tango of Kissimmee, Florida; and 22-year-old Julian Lozano of Phoenix of two counts apiece of unlawful cannabis trafficking.

Troy police say they found the marijuana wrapped in plastic in the car's trunk May 5 near Interstate 55. The suspects remain jailed in Edwardsville in lieu of $100,000 bond apiece.

Court records do not show whether they have attorneys. Calls on Friday to Banda's home went unanswered. Tango and Lozano do not have listed home telephone numbers.
