LEE COUNTY, Fla. - The annual 5K Memorial Day Run On The Green kicked off at 7:30 Memorial Day morning at Eastwood Golf Course in Lee County.

The course is home to some lush fairways and gorgeous natural scenery. Runners had the chance to take it all in as they raced through the back nine, ending at the clubhouse.

Medals were handed out in each age group plus t-shirts, post race refreshments and door prizes were all part of the event.

The run is hosted every year by the Ft. Myers Recreation Division and the Ft. Myers Track Club.
