FORT MYERS, Fla. - On Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 11:27 p.m. the Fort Myers Police Department responded to a robbery at 3485 Fowler Street.
According to witnesses two men entered the store wearing all black clothing and white gloves. One of them was wearing a mask and armed with a handgun.
While one suspect watched the door the other demanded money. During the robbery one suspect ordered the other to shoot the clerk. The suspect discharged his firearm but no one was hurt.
Witnesses say the suspects fled the scene in a gold or possibly gray Dodge Intrepid. A white female was seen driving the car.
