Engineers: Hair won't work well to clean up oil

COVINGTON, La. (AP) - Some barbers have been collecting hair, hoping that it could be used to help soak up the growing oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. But engineers are rejecting the idea of using boom made of hair. They say it isn't feasible -- and that commercial boom absorbed more oil and less water than hair boom.
