ST. CLOUD, Fla. - Authorities caught a prisoner who had escaped from a work detail in central Florida after taking a bathroom break.
The Osceola County Sheriff's Office reports that 21-year-old Michael Shane France was located Friday by authorities in a wooded area near a church.
Authorities say France was with a Department of Correction work crew Thursday afternoon when he asked to go to the bathroom. There was no bathroom facility nearby, and France was pointed in the direction of some nearby trees. He never returned.
France is serving a sentence for grand theft auto.
