LEE COUNTY, Fla. - The Lee County Sheriff's Office says a teenage suspect has turned himself in for his role in an armed burglary.
Investigators say the 16 year-old was one of two suspects who walked up to a home on Bahia Via in Fort Myers on April 24th, threatening the victim as she stood on her porch. Deputies say the suspects showed a gun and tied up the woman inside her home, where two other adults were inside. A fight then broke out between the suspects and victims, and the suspects ran from the scene.
The other suspect in the case, 18 year-old Jarquel Tyrone Jenkins, was arrested on May 5th in North Fort Myers. The 16 year-old suspect has been turned over to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
