COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - Looks like Collier students who protested over a new grading policy were heard.
Many students say they didn't know they would be receiving one grade after each semester for the current school year, until it was too late and the first semester grades came out.
The old grading policy gave students one grade at the end of the year for each class.
Thursday night the superintendent said he decided to go back to the previous grading system for the current school year.
Students will get a bonus though. The school district will figure student's grades each way and give them the higher of the two grades.
However, next school year students can count on getting one grades for each semester.
