It's been in the works for months and now a Charlotte County school set to be torn down--will be rebuilt with federal stimulus money.

Lemon Bay High School is one of 2 schools that received the federal funds to rebuild.  Lemon Bay in Englewood received $40 million.  Meadow Park Elementary received $20 Million.

The two schools will be demolished, and then rebuilt from the ground up.

Lemon Bay's Groundbreaking takes place at 11:30am Thursday.  Meadow Park's Groundbreaking will take place Friday morning at 9am in Port Charlotte.
