FORT MYERS, Fla. - A man dressed in all black sneaks up on a clerk in fort myers and robs him. Deputies released surveillance video and need your help finding that suspect.
At closing time on April 9th at a check cashing store on us-41 and Carrell road, store owner Shane Dial does as he does every night closing up.
In surveilance video obtained by wink news, there's a break in the nightly routine, a robber caught in action.
The suspect sneaks up along side the building in the first clip. The next clip shows Dial about to shut the door when a man dressed in all black grabs him from behind and wrestles him to the ground. For a few seconds, they fight, then the suspect runs, getting away with the night deposit bag.
Deputies searched the area but did not find the suspect. However, they did find the deposit bag on the ground. Dial says it didn't have any money in it and the suspect got away with nothing.
Watch the surveillance video. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS
